Teams may officially begin negotiating with certified player agents, and the rumors about the Bears’ possible free agent targets continues to pour out.
So much so that this is a pretty apt take:
According to sources, the Bears have signed every single free agent. Free agency is now over.

Although it’s his teammate Tony Jefferson who gets most of the headlines, Swearinger could be a nice pickup for a team with one of the worst secondaries in football last season. A second round pick by the Texans in 2013, Swearinger eventually wound up in Arizona this past season, emerging as an important part of their secondary, moving between free and strong safety. On the year, he recorded he had 63 tackles (4 for a loss), 2 sacks, 3 interceptions, and broke up 8 passes.
Swearinger ranks 38th on PFT’s list of the top 100 free agents, just one spot behind QB target Mike Glennon, and is the 4th ranked safety on the list. Swearinger is the 7th ranked free agent safety to PFR.
