Watch The Bears Defense Force A Turnover On The Lions’ First-Half Possession

Chicago Bears Highlights

The Detroit Lions’ revolving door of running backs gave the Chicago Bears late in the first half.

Theo Riddick’s first lost fumble since 2015 was a costly one. The Lions called for a draw play on 3rd-and-long, but the lost fumble set the Bears up with some prime field position.

Rookie safety Eddie Jackson came away with Riddick’s fumble on the 3rd-and-long play, which came after an offensive pass interference penalty and set up the only scoring play for the Bears in the first half. Chicago cashed in on a rare scoring opportunity with a Mike Nugent a 41-yard field goal to cut the team’s deficit to 13-3 at halftime.

And this is how it unfolded:

The Bears will get the ball to start the half, where they’ll look to inch closer to Detroit on the scoreboard.
